I have worked in village halls, social clubs, hotels, leisure centres, barns, marquees to name but a few, Space is all-important. A large square room with the seating arranged around the edges is best.Q. How much will a band and caller cost me? A. This will depend on how many musicians are in the band and how far they have to travel.Professional and semi-professional bands will cost more than a hobby band. Prices start from around £300 and go up to about £1000. Most are very reasonably priced around £500.
